The APAIE Conference and Exhibition was not all work. The delegates also experienced the best of Hong Kong’s vibrant culture and hospitality. From an exclusive reception at the Hong Kong Palace Museum, where guests admired relics of China’s history, to enjoying iconic Hong Kong music, running along the scenic harbourfront, learning the art of Tai Chi, and savouring the city’s renowned culinary delights, participants thoroughly experienced the richness of Hong Kong throughout the week.

CUHK hosted a post‑conference campus tour that showcased the University’s rich history, unique college system, and dynamic learning environment. The tour, which drew around 100 delegates, offered a memorable conclusion to the lively week.

The programme began with a welcome remark by Ms. Shally Fan, Director of Academic Links (Global), followed by visits to New Asia College, Lee Woo Sing College, Wu Yee Sun College, and C.W. Chu College. Delegates also explored the CUHK History Gallery, University Mall, and the CUHK Art Museum, before enjoying a tea reception at the award-winning Lo Kwee Seong Pavilion. The day provided opportunities for networking, appreciating artefacts, and engaging with traditional craftsmanship at various stalls, leaving participants with lasting connections and a deeper appreciation for CUHK’s campus and culture.
