The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the University of Adelaide (UoA) share a strong vision to nurture future leaders and create meaningful impact in education and research. Both universities have identified promising opportunities for collaboration in renewable energy, cancer research, and wellbeing and inclusive education. To foster connections, a series of virtual research roundtables was organised to bring together researchers from both institutions, enabling them to learn about each other’s work and explore potential synergies in these areas.
Founded in 1874, UoA is one of Australia’s oldest and most prestigious institutions. As a member of the Group of Eight (Go8), it is recognised for its commitment to research and academic excellence. Its strengths in science, engineering, education, and health align well with CUHK’s strategic priorities, paving the way for impactful interdisciplinary collaboration.
